Announcing our 2024 artist in residence: Henry Curchod

Castel Caramel is an Artist Residency and Cultural Platform in South of France at the former atelier of the revered Austrian painter Ernst Fuchs.

The special light and landscape of the Côte d’Azur inspired many great artists to create some of their best work. We want to make the same possible for artists of our time.

Henry, (b. 1992 in Palo Alto) is based in London and will join us together with his partner @sonoffin and Australia

I remember the day that inspired @korominami stunning painting “Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat” very well. We took the most frightening thin, high and windy road from the backlands of Nice toward Cap Ferrat 😅 was all worth it seeing this beauty
